1. Actual low coolant level

The most common cause is simply low coolant due to a leak (radiator, hose, water pump, head gasket), slow leak, or neglected maintenance/top-off.

3. Damaged or corroded wiring/connectors

4. Coolant reservoir issues

5. Coolant level sensor circuit electrical fault

6. PCM fault (rare)
