1978 Toyota Corona

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 1978 Corona.

The 1978 Toyota Corona is documented as having generated only a single owner complaint, which centered on the vehicle’s fuel‑system and gasoline delivery components, and it was subject to one factory recall. This modest incidence of issues places the 1978 model squarely within the brand’s historically strong reliability record, indicating that the year did not introduce systemic problems. Consequently, researchers can treat the 1978 Corona as a generally dependable example of the line, with only isolated fuel‑system concerns to note.
