  4. Monitor speed sensor signals with a scan tool or oscilloscope while driving to verify they produce plausible RPM values.
  5. Perform a hydraulic pressure test on the 6th gear clutch circuit (if equipment is available) to confirm proper pressure during commanded 6th gear engagement.
